Ryan Luciani of GoodFriend joined director and editor Austin Vesely as Director of Photography on this music video for Rachel Sarah Thomas, shot at PTD Vintage. Built as a raw, performance-focused piece, the concept was less about elaborate construction and more about getting the right tools in the room and responding to what was there. We shot the entire video on Orion anamorphic lenses, using their texture and flare to give the piece its distinct visual feel. The result is simple, loose, and cinematic in the right ways, letting the performance and the atmosphere carry the weight.
