Rippling

Ryan Luciani, founder of GoodFriend, joined Demo Duck as Director of Photography on this project for Rippling, helping bring a clear, polished visual approach to a piece designed to showcase the platform’s software capabilities with clarity and style. Written, directed, and edited by the Demo Duck team, the video called for clean, intentional compositions that could support UI elements being added in post without ever feeling stiff or over-engineered. My role was to build frames that felt polished, functional, and visually confident, giving the software room to shine while keeping the imagery human and engaging. To open the piece with a bit of personality, we designed a dolly move that pushes in as a coffee cup is pulled from frame, revealing the subject in one smooth motion. Demo Duck carried the larger creative vision, and I was glad to help give it a strong visual backbone.
